It’s 7am and it’s Mother's Day. Betty’s two teenage children knock on her door with smiles on their faces and say, "Happy Mother's Day, mum. As our treat to you, we want you to stay in bed and we’ll make breakfast." Soon the smell of fried eggs and toasts wafts up into her room and Betty is really looking forward to her breakfast in bed. But after 20 minutes there is still no breakfast. Betty gets up and goes downstairs to find her children finishing off their breakfast. Betty asks her children, "Well, what's with the breakfast?" "We’ve already told you," reply her children. "It’s our surprise for Mother's Day. We decided to make our own breakfast this morning."
